Men Who Pose in Online Ads with Their Shirts Off

I was having a conversation about this with a woman and she stated it as being "Creepy."  Which I actually thought was kind of odd because I know that women "do" like to see a man with his shirt off when he's outside working or at the beach or just walking around the house, but apparently that rule no longer applies when it has to do with ads.

So, I thought I'd give you ladies a little insight on the men who do this from a man's point of view.

Men are very insecure creatures.  If we're working out, we aren't saying "Look at how sexy we are" because we think that will make you want to tear our clothes off.  Most of us are not dumb enough to think that.  But what I think we "are" doing if we do that is basically the same as saying, "Please make me feel attractive by saying I look good so I'll feel better about myself and feel like what I'm doing is actually working."  Or, to some who show themselves with pictures without their shirts, they're not really doing it on purpose, that's just how they walk around a lot of times because it's more comfortable for them.

So, you can see it creepy all you want but, honestly, insecurity as well as comfort, imo, are the two main reasons men actually do that.  Although I'm sure sometimes it's because they want to get laid, more than anything they just want their ego stroked more than their penis's because they want to make sure that all of their hard work is paying off.  Just another way to look at it I suppose.

Or, in my case, if I ever did pose for a picture with my shirt off, since I'm back down to stick figure again since I stopped working out I assure you it wouldn't be because I'm trying to show anything off, because I have to HAVE a body to show it off.  For me, a picture with my shirt off would just represents how I am at all times since that's how I usually am around the house.  It would, basically, just show a woman what she would get most of the time since that's about how I always look around the house.  LOL.  But now I know how it creeps you ladies out, my shirt will always stay on.
