Unrealistic Expectations in Relationships--single ladies, read up!
Unrealistic expectations:
I find it fascinating how so many women looking for someone have such unrealistic expectations. Let’s be honest here. What are the odds, truly, of a woman finding a man who is:
-Super hot with a great body but isn’t A: A player, B: Full of himself, C: Extremely superficial, or D: All of the above?
-Makes a great living, has always been at the top, and who will always be at the top but yet will always have tons of time for her to do non-stop adventures with? First off, most men (And women) fall off the horse time and time again and have to get back on. That’s life. So just because someone is or isn’t doing well now doesn’t mean they’ll always be in that same spot. Secondly, unless someone is a world-famous architect who can work at his own pace or a part-time Doctor (And have you EVER seen a part-time Doctor? Truly) he’s not going to meet the money AND time requirements. In the real world when the common person works, they don’t have oodles of time or energy left. That’s why it’s called settling down. Real life is not college when a lot of men are often free except when it’s finals-time, and it’s not Disney so they’re not going to be always-rich princes. So deal with it. Love the man, not what he makes or what he can do for you but, rather, for who he IS.
-Or, how about thinking a man will always need to be exciting and mysterious with new things you learn about him every day? Wow, these ladies have obviously never been in long-term relationships before. After time, you’ll get an occasional surprise and learn something new, but once you know someone extremely well, almost as well as you know yourself, then you need to love KNOWING WHO THEY ARE and not being in love with the exciting and the unexpected. That’s how a long-term relationship works. You may fall in love with them learning all the new things you learn about them, but people will only stay in love with one another if you learn to love knowing what to expect from them because they’re such a great person and you love knowing that. When the predictable, solid, stable person you see in front of you becomes what you love, then and only then will you have a chance to make it for the long haul. But if you crave constant newness, you aren’t cut out for a long term relationship.
-Expecting a dangerous bad-boy to someone become a knight in shining armor. I’m sure, in some genetically archaic way based on early, outdated survival instincts, a lot of these men may seem fun to mate with but, in the long run, I can almost guarantee they’re going to break your heart and never be what you had hoped they could become. Trust me, this isn’t Disney. Most of the time, a beast will always remain a beast. Neanderthals will never make good long-term partners. Period.
Some single ladies have SO much to learn. They should be teaching this “Duh, no-brainer stuff” in schools. Seriously.

Obama vs. Romney: The Presidential Race
Even though the economy didn't improve since his time in office, I think Obama has implemented a lot of programs that have helped those in need. Student loan holders got relief in a variety of ways if the loans were made under the Federal Government, and although many mock Obamacare, once it takes hold fully in 2014, you have no idea how many people that will help.
Basically, what it boils down to is this...
Beginning in January 2014, individuals under 65 years of age with income below 133 percent of the federal poverty level (FPL) will be eligible for Medicaid. For the first time ever, low-income adults without children will be guaranteed coverage through Medicaid in every state without need for a waiver, and parents of children will be eligible at a uniform income level across all states.
Right now, the only ones who are getting free healthcare are those with families or those considered disabled who are on Medicaid. For those single adults out there out of work or those who aren't working much and make diddly, if they get sick and can't afford health insurance, they're screwed.
If Romney gets in office, I can almost guarantee that Mr. Richy-rich is going to feel that's unneeded and try to repeal it.
In addition, there's the issue of gay rights, which Obama firmly supports and is making progress with, and Romney, I believe, is still stuck in the dark ages. With me having a gay brother, I do believe they should have the same rights as everyone else. Many other countries do, so why is this country so far behind?
Overall, it is quite possible that some of Romney's policies MAY, in fact, equal or exceed those of Obama's in some ways as time goes on, but the fact of the matter is...some of these things have already been made LAWS under Obama, and right now all Romney can do is make promises, and we all know how well promises are often kept in the White House once someone manages to get in.

Idiocracy
Idiocracy, here we come….
How did we go from times when art was on canvas or clay, to defacing the natural beauty of the human body?
How did we go from family shows that made us smile, laugh and feel good, to cutting people up on a slab and talking about murder for an hour straight?
How did we go from caring about people’s well being, to watching people beat the crap out of each other during ultimate fighting contests?
How did we go from respecting nature and food, to completely trying to alter it?
How did we go from common courtesy, to only caring about ourselves without considering others?
How did we go from respecting our bodies, to finding more and more ways to mess it up just to feel good?
How did we go from an age where dreamers were admired, to an age where they’re laughed at if they’re not making tons of money?
How did we go from an age where companies cared about their employees, to an age where they’re nothing more than a number?
How did we go from a time where we laughed at the intricacies of comedy, to a time where someone getting hit by a car on the screen illicits laughter from the younger crowd?
How did we go from a time where accidents happened, to a time where parents will sue a family if their child hurts themselves on their driveway?
How did we go from a time where we were allowed to protect ourselves, to a time where we can sometimes be put in jail for doing so if a person had a lawyer who twisted the law to somehow make it seem like we were at fault?
How did we go from a time where people were happy and felt grateful for what they had, to a time when they were miserable because they kept focusing on what they didn’t?
How did we go from a time when writing, art, and theater were cultural passions of only the advanced, to a time where those pursuits are now just considered to be pursuits of the gay or the snooty? Intellectual interest don’t have to mean either.
How did we go from the beautiful art of making love to pornos when we think of how to have sex?
How did we go from protecting people to protecting the bottom line?
How did we go from the natural to the artificial?
How did we go from trust to constant skepticism?
How did we go from men being the potential to be good to men being a Lifetime movie in the making?
How did we go from lady-like to Girls Gone Wild?
How did we go from childhood toys that allowed us to be creative, to toys that did everything for us?
How did we go from paying attention to the people we were with, to typing on our phones in their presence?
How did we go from dating in real life to spending an eternity online with someone and never seeing them?
How did we go from a civilized society to one out for blood?
How did we go from wanting freedom to taking that freedom away from other countries? We wouldn’t that done to ourselves, would we?
How did we go from being there for our kids, to always wanting them to have more stuff than we did so we never end up being there for them?
How did we go from buying what we can afford to buying something for show?
Society can continue to think it’s evolving by all of its technological leaps and bounds but we, as humans, are most certainly going the opposite direction.
Just something to think about.

Unemployment rate in America
Everyone is always so utterly up in arms about the unemployment situation and thinking this person is at fault, or that person is at fault. Let me tell it like I see it. No matter who is in office it's not going to matter. Someone may help something a little bit, or someone may hurt something a little bit. But will the problem ever really have a chance to be fixed big time? No. Why? Because no one in power, whether Congress or President, has the balls to do what really needs to be done. If we want a fully self-sufficient country, one without reliance on others, one where we get all of our resources from the land we have, and manufactured good are only made here with the materials that we can get from THIS country, that is what will help to open up millions of jobs and keep them here. No more outsourcing, no more "trade" with other countries, no more "Made in India or China." Everything, including oil (Which yes, we have in abundance but they're just too stubborn to dig for it), is dug up here, processed here, put together here, and sold here. People in this country from the get-go wanted independence, well, if you want independence, having a dependence on others is not the definition of independence. And by having TRUE independence, other countries won't be taking away our jobs. That's what it all boils down to--having those people in power being ballsy enough to do what needs to be done. But no one will ever do it. Sad, but true.

Nature's really weird sometimes when it gives people parts, isn't it? Like...really skinny girls with no hips but large boobs. Or really wide hips and no boobs. If both of those are biological markers of womanhood/potential motherhood, talk about a conflict of interests!
Or...really skinny frail looking guys with really large willies, or really beefy, muscular looking guys with tiny little specks of a willy. If a guy with a good body as well as a decent sized willy is an indication of manhood, why does nature often mix and match parts like that instead?
Overall, for both females and males, my own personal theory is....when genetics gives us no choice but to have parts or bodies that aren't conducive to masculinity or femininity, it sometimes gives us something else in spades to compensate for it.
And the people who are physically perfect overall? Let's all smack them simultaneously, shall we?
